The Midwest Dairy Council Presents: “Chocolate Milk”
The Official Beverage of the Nebraska School Activities Association
The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) is pleased to announce “Chocolate Milk” as the Official Beverage of the NSAA presented by the Midwest Dairy Council. The partnership will feature nutrition education for NSAA member schools and product sampling at various NSAA events throughout the year. “We are very excited to begin this relationship with the Midwest Dairy Association,” said Rhonda Blanford-Green, NSAA Executive Director. “This partnership reflects our desire to collaborate with organizations that share our educational mission of healthy lifestyles for Nebraska participants.” The Midwest Dairy Council represents more than 189 dairy farm families and processers in Nebraska. “Nebraska dairy farmers are committed to seeing the communities, schools and students in our state thrive. We are excited to partner with the NSAA and provide tools, research, and excitement around Chocolate Milk and the powerful nutrition package it provides,” said Beth Bruck-Upton, Midwest Dairy Council’s Director of Health & Wellness. The Midwest Dairy Council®,an affiliate of National Dairy Council, is the nutrition education division of Midwest Dairy Association. The Council is dedicated to dairy nutrition research and education, and is committed to child health and wellness through programs such as Fuel Up to Play 60.
